Holiday Happenings-Family Festivities this Winter

(Casey Cares Foundation)The holidays can be a trying time for families with critically ill children.  With the help of area businesses, we are able to bring fun into the lives of these families this time of year.

We’d like to extend a special thank you to the Baltimore Ballet, Ballet Theater of Maryland, White Marsh Ballet,  Baltimore School for the Arts and Maryland Ballet Theatre & Arts Co. for helping several special families attend performances of  a holiday favorite, The Nutcracker.

Casey Cares families also had the opportunity to attend many other wonderful performances such as the BSO and the Holiday Spectacular, The Lyric Opera House’s
Christmas Carol and the Baltimore Actors Theatre Annual Babes in Toyland performance.  These shows have become favorites and we look forward to sharing your donations with our families each year.

The holiday season would not be complete without Christmas lights and Santa Clause.  Brookside Gardens donated passes to their spectacular Garden of Lights, and Harbor Cruises sent one of our very special families on a cruise around Baltimore’s Harbor with none other then the big guy himself, Santa.  Thanks to all of these generous donors, magical holiday memories were certainly made!
