Founded in 2000, the Casey Cares Foundation provides on-going, uplifting programs for families with a critically ill child.  Children on treatment for leukemia, brain tumors, cystic fibrosis, blood disorders (sickle cell, TTP, aplastic anemia, etc.), lymphoma (Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin), sarcoma and other childhood cancers qualify for our programs.

Through our unique activities, each family enjoys an average of six experiences per year throughout the duration of their child’s illness and even one year beyond. Individually designed for each family, these programs allow them to focus on happy times together rather than the stress, worry and pain of the disease that has upended their lives.   

Families count on us when every day must count.

Casey Cares child Aaron Ware, will be on the RACHAEL RAY show.  Aaron had the misfortune of losing his identical twin brother Eric to cancer, but turned his grief around and helped others by starting a baking company.  Doughjangles – Sweets by Aaron is not only a hobby to distract Aaron of the tragic loss of Eric, but he sells his creations for $1.00 a piece and donates part of the proceeds to the organization that brought joy to his family in Eric’s last years.  The Casey Cares Foundation provided many heartwarming programs to Eric and his family after he was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2004.  Aaron and his family spoke at the Casey Cares Foundation gala recently and three dozen of his cookies were auctioned off for $1,500!
